Diana Rupp Breezy Easy Wrap Skirt

This is the first skirt I made.   I had a lot of trouble understanding the waistband directions but I finally got it finished.  I used a heavy denim material.  There is a hole in the waistband that the tie goes into.  Because the denim is so thick, it's hard to get the tie through the hole.  This means I never have to worry about the skirt coming untied and falling off.

The skirt is a little big.  There's some excess fabric in the back.  The side of the skirt hits the hole for the tie so I can't pull it any tighter.  The skirt was too long so I decided to shorten it.  I'm not sure if I will make this skirt again.  If I do make again, I will use a thinner fabric and make the side panels a little smaller.
